27-year-old Titus had a successful school football career breaking multiple records for Central Michigan, including most career yards and touchdowns.

As the two teams lined up for the national anthem, cameras caught Corey and his teammates as tears rolled down his face.

Despite his heavy heart, Corey took off and played most of the game in which the Colts won 34-17.

He finished the game with five catches for a total of 67 yards and after the game talked about how his brother was on his mind at each game.

“It’s definitely tough,” said Davis.

“But I just always thought that he wanted that from me. He wouldn’t want me to be sad and sulky and sorry for myself. I obviously miss him and wish he were here, but I know he is in a better place and that he was with me today.

“When he was there, he just kept telling my sister to play no matter what. He just kept telling me to play and I should play throughout the process.

“That’s my biggest fan. I’ve followed him and tried to be like him since I was a little kid. I wore his number every year to copy him. He found it annoying, but I looked up at him tremendously. That was my idol, my hero. I tried to honor him tonight. “

Titan’s coach Mike Vrabel praised Davis after the game for getting out and playing the day after losing his brother.

“I’m not only proud of Corey, but also of his teammates. I’m proud of Corey and his ability to get out of here. Our thoughts are with him and his family and I am proud of his teammates for supporting him as they have. “, He said.

The Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill said he told Davis before the game he would always be there for him.

“He showed a lot of toughness. It’s tough, game over, but those feelings aren’t gone. I told him I love him, I am there for him. I can’t imagine what he’s going through. My heart goes out to him. I just want him to know that I love him and that I take care of him, ”he said.

Nyheim Hines scored two touchdowns for the Colts, who used an explosive second half to pull back and beat the Tennessee Titans in a clash between the AFC South Division’s top two teams.

Hines rushed for one touchdown and caught a pass for another, and quarterback Philip Rivers surpassed Dan Marino by fifth on the all-time list of yards as the Colts won 34-17 to secure first place with the Titans .

“It was a big win,” said Rivers of the Colts, who beat his opponent 21-0 in the second half.

“Half of us felt good. They slowed us down in the first half. The defense had big stops, we got a blocked punt for the touchdown and we were efficient on offense all night. “

Rivers topped Marino on the overwhelming list with his first completion of the competition, an 11-yard throw to Jonathan Taylor. Rivers finished the game in his 17th NFL season with 61,666 yards. Marino has accumulated 61,361 yards in 17 seasons.

“I feel good physically. I can still do all the throws, ”said Rivers. “I always threw with anticipation. I never had a (Patrick) Mahomes or (Aaron) Rodgers arm. I never had that arm anyway. Throwing anticipation and accuracy is my game. “

Hines ended up with a total of 115 rushing and receiving yards for the Colts, while Rivers completed 29 of 39 passes for 308 yards and a touchdown.

This is the first of two meetings between the teams in 17 days as they play again in Indianapolis on November 30th.
