Cameron Munster is a little worse off after finally celebrating his party after winning the NRL Premiership and State of Origin series in 2020.
The superstar five-eighths cemented his name as one of the best players in the world with his performance as the Wally Lewis medalist when the Maroons scored one of the biggest boilovers in Origin history.

But the after party turns out to be just as big for the 26-year-old.
Openly about his love for a beer, Munster was already busy with the Shenanigans in Byron Bay after the decision, shouting “Let’s celebrate” to win the 50,000 viewers in Queensland.
Famous Queensland coach Wayne Bennett hung up in Munster when he asked for an extra 24 hours off after Melbourne’s Premier League win.
When Munster called back and said he was serious, Bennett allegedly said “no” and then hung up.
However, the couple quickly became friends, built a good relationship, and played cards in the Maroons bubble.
But with SEN Winds with Matty Johns, Harry Grant and Munster attended the show to give a glimpse into the festivities.
While Bennett was invited to the party, the 70-year-old didn’t end up in Byron.
Grant said he “enjoyed the festivities last night and woke up to do it all again today”.
He added that Münster had “eight hours too” to laugh at the panel. Storm teammate Cooper Johns said, “there’s no going,” and Matty added, “Yeah, eight minutes.”
Grant, who made a stunning debut. Bennett said not really talking to him about his role in Origin, praising Rooster’s rake Jake Friend, who allowed the boy to switch to his preferred role on Dummy Half.
“I didn’t really talk to Wayne about my role until just before the game because I didn’t want to get upset about it, but I kind of played Lock there and didn’t know what I was doing for some of the sets,” Grant said.
“Kind was pretty good to me, he just said, ‘mate, you hack and change at number 9 and I’ll just float.’
“It shows the quality he has as a player and as a leader … that he only took one for the team and did some tough tricks.”
But the panel then wanted to talk to Münster, which sounded croaky and a little worse.
After some politeness, Cooper asked what was on his mind while playing.
“Do you know when a monkey claps those little basins? I think so, ”said Münster.
“That’s pretty much a tee, there isn’t much to me as you would know Coops. I keep it pretty simple, run hard, grab hard, take my kicks and you know what I’m doing.”
Munster added that Bennett’s secret was to point out what he was good at and “pump up his tires.”
But it was soon that time again: Cooper asked who had best traveled to Byron Bay with 15 maroons.
“Jake Friend would be up there, myself of course, and the other would have to be Corey Allan,” Munster said.
After Münster dropped out of the line, Cooper pointed out that Münster had clearly been enjoying himself.
“How about Munster’s voice,” he said. “Harry sounded good, then Munster comes along and he sounded terrible.”
