Kim Mestdagh closes the basketball season at Schio in Italy. The 30-year-old Belgian Cat is leaving Charleville-Mézières, the French club where she was working on her second passage with immediate effect.
Mestdagh returned to Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes in the summer of 2019, the French club where she played from 2015 to 2017. Due to the corona crisis, the previous season was not completely finished, this season the team from Charleville-Mézières is currently 5th.
The 30-year-old Mestdagh now opts for an adventure in Northern Italy, with the multiple champion Schio. Giorgia Sottana, Mestdagh’s girlfriend, will also be working there. Schio is 2nd in the Serie A1 standings after 7 match days.
Mestdagh and co will play between December 1st and 4th. the first (of two) group stage (s) in the EuroLeague. Her first match will be one against the Yekaterinburg of Emma Meesseman, Mestdagh’s teammate at the Belgian Cats.
