KOMPAS.com – AS Roma managed to beat Fiorentina in the sixth match of Serie A or the Italian League top competition.
The Roma vs Fiorentina duel which was held at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday (2/11/2020) early morning WIB ended in a victory for the home team.
The team nicknamed I Giallorossi managed to beat Fiorentina with a convincing score of 2-0.
AS Roma, which last week drew 3-3 with AC Milan, did not take long to score.

In the 13th minute, Leonardo Spinazzola managed to bring the hosts ahead.
Starting from long bait goalkeeper Antonio Mirante, the ball was grabbed by Spinazzola.
Full-back The 27-year-old then made a solo move through the Fiorentina defense.
Spinazzola managed to beat Fiorentina goalkeeper, Bartlomiej Dragowski, with a horizontal kick.
Roma’s one goal advantage over Fiorentina lasted until halftime.

In the second half, Paulo Fonseca’s squad managed to increase their advantage through a combination of the trio of Edin Dzeko, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Pedro Rodriguez.
Roma’s quick counterattack by Edin Dzeko made Fiorentina’s defense split. Dzeko then gives the ball to Mkhitaryan who goes into the opponent’s penalty box.
Mkhitaryan’s drive to the far post was converted into a goal by Pedro Rodriguez. This is Pedro’s third goal with AS Roma in the Italian League this season.
Roma’s two-goal advantage over Fiorentina lasted until the game was over. I Giallorossi also secured three points at home.

The victory over Fiorentina brought AS Roma up to seventh in the 2020-2021 Italian League standings with a value of 11.
Giallorossi’s collection of points is now the same as the sixth-ranked team, Inter Milan, which in another match was held to a 2-2 draw by Parma.
Meanwhile, the defeat to Roma made Fiorentina unable to move from the mid-table.
Fiorentina is currently ranked 11th in the Italian League standings with seven points.
