Marcelo Nicola: «There are players whose heads are elsewhere»

The Acunsa Gipuzkoa Basket coach, Marcelo Nicola, has made no secret of his great displeasure at another extensive defeat against Joventut and especially by the bad image of his team and warned that “there are players whose heads are elsewhere.”

“That cannot be and we must bring them here (the heads) because some are not focused on what they have to do and do not show any desire to be on this team and in this league,” the Basque team coach stressed.

Nicola, dejected but whole after a big step backward, also pointed out in the Illunbe press room that there was “absolutely nothing good to extract from this match, from the beginning to the end.”
