A crazy match ended the streak

Few times, almost none, can you see a game with two such different parts. Bidasoa Irun was unknown in the first half but in the resumption he showed his best version and he was about to rescue a point in the clash in which he was nine goals down.

Thus the victorious streak of the irundarras is broken, who had won their first eight league games. With that figure they match the best league start of the club and remain one of the best streak of that Elgorriaga of the 94-95 season. The counter is reset again and the next opportunity to start a new list of victories will come on Sunday against Villa de Aranda, again in Artaleku.

An Artaleku that will be empty as it was yesterday, with about thirty people in the stands: Some directors, journalists, personnel for the television broadcast and players who did not enter the call. Among these, Azkue and Racotea, who were missed, although many times Bidasoa has been able to carry out games with two or more important losses. And they were more, because in minute nine Tesoriere saw the direct red.

A 0-3 to start

With the Bidasoa Irun up on the crest of the wave and the Ademar León having left some doubts in its trajectory, the initial 0-3 was already a surprise. Of course, that can happen in almost any game. But By minute three, Cuétara already requested time out. Soon he changed his first line (De la Salud, Salinas and Bartok for the initial Bonanno, De la Salud Salinas). And then the second time-out. It was minute seven and Ademar won 2-8, with 100% accuracy in front of goal, while Bidasoa had a collection of errors to accompany his two goals.

Incidents:

Postponed match of the first day, played behind closed doors.

As he had no more time-outs, the Spaniard changed goalkeeper in the 11th minute. Sierra for the unprecedented Ledo and with an astonishing 3-11 on the scoreboard. After six minutes the Galician returned, because the Andalusian had not touched the ball other than to pick it up from the bottom of the goal.

The performance of the Irundarras was being disappointing. Lazy on defense – Ledo’s first stop in minute 24, he made another one until the break – and irregular in attack. The only positive reading is that they managed to stop the scoring rhythm of Ademar, who scored ten goals in the first ten minutes and twelve in the next twenty. But of course, there were already 22 at halftime – and a difference of nine – when Bidasoa is conceding an average of 22.4 goals not in half an hour, but throughout the game.

13-4 in 22 minutes

That in the resumption the Bidasoa cut distances was normal. That he got into the game was not ruled out. But from there to having options to score there could be a jump. He had them.

That 0-3 at the beginning of the game was repeated with the roles changed at the start of the second half. Three saves by Ledo, three counterattacks by Kauldi and a time-out by Manolo Cadenas five minutes after the restart, 16-22.

The omelette was turning and little by little those three premises were given on which the daydreams turned at rest. By the 11th minute the scoreboard showed 21-24, so the home team was at an acceptable disadvantage. Salinas scored four goals almost in a row, interrupted by one from Bonanno, to make it 23-25. Two down. And the minimum difference was put by Ledo from 32 meters, 24-25. The most difficult remained, to tie, and that corresponded to Bartok with eight minutes remaining, 26-26.

Dr. Jekyll had remedied the damage Hyde had done and from 27-28 had three options to tie, the last one in the last second, but in the end he was left without a prize.
