UEFA Champions League group stage draw (1 a.m. AEST) – The next season of the Champions League is only a few weeks away and the teams will find out who they will face in the opening phase.

The draw for the group stage of the top European football tournament will take place in the early hours of Friday morning (AEST) without guests in the RTS studios in Geneva.

Thirty-two of the best teams in Europe will be divided into eight groups that will compete against each other from October 20th – more than a month later than usual. All six game rounds are packed into eight weeks.

After the draw on Friday morning, UEFA will also announce the best male and female players of last season.
