Three destinations for Kaepernick – TVA Sports

football/nfl/story">

Almost four years after playing his last game in the NFL, could Colin Kaepernick still help a team in 2020?

This is a difficult question to answer, but there are three teams that could surely benefit from the help of a quarterback who has already had success in the Goodell circuit.

– Cowboys de Dallas

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys lost to Andy Dalton in a 25-3 loss to Washington football. The Texan team had already seen Dak Prescott fracture and dislocate an ankle two weeks ago. His season is over.

For his part, Dalton was hit hard on the head and he did not get up. It is still not known how long the redhead will be away from the game, but it would be surprising if he was released next week.

It was Ben DiNucci who replaced Dalton against Washington. The freshman was drafted in the seventh round of the last NFL auction. He only threw three passes this Sunday, completing two of them for 39 yards.

The Cowboys, who are 2-5, find themselves in a more than difficult situation. Will Jerry Jones be tempted to throw a pole at Kaepernick to save his season?

– New York Jets

The 2020 Jets campaign is already a failure, they who have not known the happiness of victory in seven outings. The formation of the Big Apple has already started to liquidate its assets. She freed running back Le’Veon Bell and traded defensive lineman Steve McLendon.

Chances are the Jets will get the No. 1 pick in the next draft and get their hands on quarterback Trevor Lawrence. So, why not trade Sam Darnold for a good return?

With this strategy, the Jets could make room for Kaepernick. It would be a great marketing strategy and a way to get people talking positively for a rare time this year.

– Dolphins de Miami

The Dolphins have chosen to send young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa into the fray for their next game. The fifth overall pick in the last NFL auction was backup Ryan Fitzpatrick since the start of the season. This one did very well and could interest another team. If the Dolphins ever decide to trade him, they’ll need a good second to back Tagovailoa. Kaepernick therefore represents an interesting option.
