A perfect combination, that between the landscape of the World Heritage hills and the Giro d’Italia, which is giving new visibility to the Municipalities involved in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene time trial that has just ended.
The importance of this event for tourism in the Alta Marca Trevigiana was reiterated by local politicians and entrepreneurs who have chosen the exclusive location of Ca ‘del Poggio, the famous hotel-restaurant in San Pietro di Feletto, to follow the Treviso leg of the Giro d’Italia and to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Alta Marca.
Also impressed by the landscape of the Unesco hills Alessandra De Stefano, deputy director of Rai Sport and well-known face of the “Processo alla Tappa”, which moved from San Pietro di Feletto to Valdobbiadene together with the Rai crew.
The regional councilor Sonia Brescacin he did not hide his satisfaction with the public response regarding the indications for combating the spread of Covid, while his colleague Roberto Bet stressed the positive effects for the tourism sector in a difficult time for many Venetian entrepreneurs who live thanks to the promotion of the territory.
The mayor of San Pietro di Feletto, Maria Assunta Rizzo, explained that the success of this event represents only a starting point and not an arrival, precisely because public administrations and the local business world must continue to create new networks to keep people’s interest high on this area of the Province of Treviso.
The cycling traction of the Treviso people was highlighted by Fausto Pinarello, enthusiastic about the atmosphere of collective joy that only the Giro d’Italia can create.
Excellences in sport that were put on display together with the gastronomic specialties of a generous land that enhances its products that the whole world envies.
