Alexis Lafrenj, a Canadian, has officially joined the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL), the club has announced.

The first number in the 2020 draft was surprisingly the talented Lafrenjé, chosen by the Rangers.

Talent will play in the ranks of the New York unit with the number 13.

“He has a huge talent with which he can achieve a lot,” says Jeff Gorton, general manager of Rangers. “He is masterful, skates well and throws. He also has a great understanding of the game. He has leadership qualities and Lafrenjier always takes the initiative. ”

Last season, the 18-year-old striker served as captain of the Rimouski Oceanic of the Quebec Supreme Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 57 games, Lafrenje scored 35 goals and made 77 assists, becoming the most successful hockey player in the league with 112 points.
