The latest health restrictions imposed by the government, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, are affecting the good performance of the 2020-2021 basketball season. Despite this, it continues, for the moment.
Meeting this Thursday evening, the Steering Committee of the National Basketball League (which manages the Jeep ELITE and the Pro B) has decided not to stop the current exercise, announces Arnaud Lecomte of L’Equipe. Clubs (15 of 18 in Jeep ELITE are based in the curfew zone) will have to adapt to the measures.
As a reminder, in May 2020, the General Assembly of the LNB voted for the season not to be held in the event of a general closed-door.
No interruption of the JE and Pro B season, decided the LNB, meeting in the management committee on Thursday, despite the accentuation of health restrictions and the request of certain clubs
