The next Saturday, October 24 basketball is back for the little ones. In a virtual way, the 14th edition of the International Open Basketball Event, organized by Sergio Orazi Productions. Unlike the other years, it cannot be done in person due to the health issue and the measures adopted by the National Government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The organization, led by Sergio Orazi, understood that They could not sit idly by, they had to find their way around and it was a way of giving children from different parts of the country and the region who are confined, without classes and without sports activity, the chance to have a reunion with their discipline. That is why it was decided that it be carried out through the Zoom platform and it can be seen live through the Facebook Live of the official account of Open Sports (OpenSportsok) on Saturday from 14.

In the event More than 50 teams will participate that are made up of clubs from different parts of Argentina and Latin America such as Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia. Each participant will be representing their team which, through basic instructions, physical challenges and entertainment through trivia, will be able to score points for their team.
The activities will be evaluated by a jury of basketball figures that will include Sebastián Ginobili (former player and coach) Guillermo Narvarte (coach) and Julián Olmedo (former professional player).
Those teams that score the highest amount of points will obtain prizes for their clubs, which will be given away by the Open Sports company.
The day will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the U12 category, then at 3:00 p.m. U13 category will participate and at 4 pm. the U14 / U15. The conduction and animation of the event will be face-to-face with Santiago Mancuso, together with the sports coordinator, Alejandro Mangone, who will demonstrate the exercises with other people present.
