Next double game day in the 2nd Badminton Bundesliga.

For the second division players of the STC Blau-Weiß Solingen things are going on in quick succession. Just one week after the first two games in their own hall there is another double game day. This time the blue-whites in the north group have to go away without having to travel far: This Saturday (starting at 5 p.m.) they play at CFB Cologne – and only one day later (2 p.m.) they play the away game at host BC Beuel 2.

The start of the season with three wins, one defeat and a total of six points was quite satisfactory from the Solingen’s point of view. With this yield, they are currently in fourth place – the team also took this in the past season, which was canceled shortly before its scheduled end. The two opponents from the weekend appear to be beatable: Newcomer Cologne has not yet been able to win one, the Bonn players only one match. In any case, Niklas Niemczyk is optimistic about the next important sporting weekend: “We should be able to win against both teams in normal form.” The captain of the blue and white hopes for at least four points.

The STC team leader himself will in all likelihood take the lead again after recovering from back problems. Otherwise it looks like that Solingen’s top-class badminton team can compete with the best cast. The setback of the clear 1: 6 defeat last Sunday against BV Mülheim is ticked off. Niemczyk: “After the three victories at the beginning, it was perhaps not bad to be grounded. Now we are looking forward again with all our might. “
