Rins, heavier duel with Alex or when Marc and Rossi smoke?

Jakarta

After the duel with Alex Marquez, Alex Rins won his third victory in MotoGP. His previous two victories in that class were achieved after a duel against Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi.

Rins, who has been in the MotoGP class since 2017, won his first premier class victory at the 2019 US MotoGP in Austin in April last year.

At that moment, the moment when Marc Marquez fell was used by Valentino Rossi to lead the race. But a few laps towards the end of the race, Alex Rins maneuvered to take over the leading position from The Doctor’s hands.

Valentino Rossi did not remain silent and continued to press. But until the race in Austin was over, Alex Rins managed to secure the position from Rossi’s attack.

Alex Rins’ second victory in MotoGP was no less dramatic. This happened at the 2019 British MotoGP at Silverstone on August 25 last year.

At that time Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, and Alex Rins returned to compete. In the early laps, Alex Rins managed to overtake Rossi and then followed Marquez.

In the middle of the race, Alex Rins managed to bloat Marc Marquez but it didn’t last long. The two of them continued to have a fierce duel ahead.

In the end, near the finish line Alex Rins made a maneuver to get past Marc Marquez and then grabbed his second victory in MotoGP.

Alex Rins’ top podium in the primary class was present in the race at MotoGP Aragon, Sunday (19/10/2020) yesterday. This time it was he who had to face the pressure as the race leader from the threat of Alex Marquez in second place.

The Alex Vs Alex duel heats up in several rounds ahead of the finish. In the end, Rins calmly managed to close all the gaps in Marc Marquez’s younger brother’s attempts to get through.

Of his three victories in the primary class so far, Alex Rins has done so through duels with Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and then Alex Marquez. He called the latter the most severe.

“This is my first race to win while leading the race. Two wins before this I dueled with Valentino, with Marc. But I think this time it was tougher because it’s easy to make mistakes when you lead the race. I’m trying to keep calm and keep going well,” he said like reported by Autosport.
