Paul George announces crazy rating on 2K, Morant and Young are pissed off

With the upcoming release of NBA2K21 on new generation consoles, the game developers are gradually unveiling the new player ratings. And as always, ratings make gamers and … gamers themselves talk. Paul George was among the players invited to react live to the announcement of their rating with Ronnie2K. The Los Angeles Clippers winger, who is going through a little complicated moments at the moment in terms of popularity, again took the risk of seeing his detractors turn against him in a few months …

Paul George had felt the blow when he explained that he thought he would inherit an 88 in this Next Gen version and it is indeed the case. On the other hand, in terms of ambition and objectives, “PG13” set the bar very, very high.

“At the end of next season, I predict I’ll be around 95. And suddenly, for NBA2K22, I’ll be at 96 or something.”

NBA2K21: LeBron is the king again, nice boost for Jimmy Butler

Other players have greeted this revelation of the ratings with a bit more … skepticism. This is the case of Ja Morant and Trae Young. The Memphis Grizzlies point guard tweeted in response to a question from the same Ronnie2K:

“What grade I think I got? A 72, how you grade”

That of the Atlanta Hawks was satisfied with a GIF that says a lot when discussing his possible rating on NBAK21.
