Joaquin Niemann was reunited with his high level on the PGA circuit last weekend, after taking sixth place in the CJ Cup, disputed in Las Vegas, United States.

The Talagante native, despite an irregular start in the first days of competition, managed to assert himself in the Shadow Creek field and, with a score of -13, finished in sixth place in the aforementioned tournament.

Six birdies this Sunday allowed ‘Joaking’ to get very close to Jason Kokrak, winner of the CJ Cup, which also earned him a climb in the PGA ranking.

The Chilean, at 21, rose from 46th to 44th place, the best of his fledgling career. In addition, in the FedEx ranking, which ranks players based on their season results, it went from 43rd to 18th.

“I am very happy with my 6th place. Thank you very much CJ Cup for the great effort to be able to have the tournament here this year ”, Niemann highlighted on his social networks.

And not only in terms of positions, ‘Joaking’ smiled. From the ‘City of sin’ the national was brought 351 thousand dollars (almost 280 million pesos), with which it has already exceeded 6 million US currency in the circuit.
