The Tennessee Titans’ comeback on Sunday against the Houston Texans cost the team dearly.

Left tackle and offensive line star Taylor Lewan tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and he will miss the rest of the season.

It was Lewan himself who made the announcement on Twitter.

“Don’t be disappointed for me, I will take care of this fitness like a pro and I will come out better than ever. Thanks to the Titans fans for your support, ”Lewan wrote.

In the last game, the Titans won 42-36 thanks to a remarkable performance from running back Derrick Henry who racked up 212 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

A first-round pick (11th overall) in 2014, Lewan has spent the last seven seasons with the Titans. He has been elected three times to the Pro Bowl.
