CLEVELAND – Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. produced a second negative COVID-19 result in 24 hours and was given the green light to join his teammates in Pittsburgh ahead of Sunday’s game against the Steelers.

Beckham had stayed in Cleveland and missed two days of training after feeling sick Thursday and then being sent home. According to NFL protocol, he had to produce two negative results before he could resume normal activities.

The league has called on teams to keep away anyone showing symptoms similar to COVID-19, even if they are caused by a cold or the flu.

The Browns have indicated Beckham is an uncertain case against the Steelers. Although he hasn’t practiced, the star catcher has participated in team meetings remotely.

Beckham has caught 21 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns this season. He also added a major on a 50-yard run.
