The Chicago Bears will rely on Nick Foles for quarterback Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Matt Nagy confirmed Monday.

Carried by Foles, the Bears closed 16 points in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons to win 30-26, dropping their record to 3-0.

The veteran quarterback came over to Mitch Trubisky and landed three touchdown passes in the last 15 minutes of the game. His resounding debut will therefore earn him at least one start.

Foles replaced an ineffective Trubisky after the successful interception by Blidi Wreh-Wilson in the third quarter.

On Sunday, Trubisky completed 13 of 22 passes for 128 yards, with one touchdown pass. Wreh-Wilson’s delighted ball led to a field goal that gave the Falcons a 26-10 lead.

Before the tie-down, Foles joined Jimmy Graham and Allen Robinson for three and 37-yard touchdown passes, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Bears won’t be seeing running back Tarik Cohen anytime soon as he reportedly suffered a torn ligament in his knee, Nagy said.

The team is awaiting further test results before confirming the initial diagnosis.

Cohen was injured while returning a punt in the game against the Falcons. His rival Brian Hill was pushed straight onto his right leg. Cohen immediately went to the Bears’ medical tent before being transported to the locker room.

The dynamic running back had two carries for 21 yards and three catches for 20 yards on his record before leaving.

Cohen had put his signature at the bottom of a new three-season contract last week.
