Nacional vs Medellín, Women’s League: security measures for the Antioqueño classic | Colombian Soccer | Women’s Football

One of the novelties that Atlético Nacional for women had for this League was to play their home games at the Bernardo Nando Álvarez de Guarne stadium, a stage closer to the sports venue and where they debuted with victory over Atlético Bucaramanga. According to Resolution 1507 of August 31, 2020 “By means of which the Biosafety Protocol is adopted for the management and control of the risk of the coronavirus COVID – 19 in activities related to professional football in the training and national and international competitions and Resolution 993 of 2020 is repealed. Atlético Nacional complied with each of the parameters from phase 3 to phase 5 of competition. In this phase, for the home matches that will be played at the Bernardo Nando Álvarez stadium in the Guarne municipality, different aspects related to ready biosecurity were defined, as well as the entire security device, taking into account that they are matches without an audience.

Biosecurity

From the moment this resolution was issued, technical visits had been made to the Bernardo Nando Álvarez de Guarne stadium, accompanied by each of the Club’s areas, suppliers and authorities for the fine-tuning of the sports scene. Different disinfection sites were arranged in areas such as dressing rooms and corridors.

The dressing rooms and all the areas used for the game already have the proper signs: inviting hand washing, social distancing, use of a mask and other rules that must be met on stage. At the entrance of the South-West entrance, there will be a Mon sink with specialized product for the entry of all people. In each game, a tent will be installed at the entrance of the stadium to verify the list of authorized people, temperature measurement and the first disinfection filter.

Before, during and after the meeting

From the INDER of Guarne, Nacional receives a disinfection certificate for all the spaces to be used before, during and after each match. Additionally, and before the start of the match, Nacional has a person to carry out thorough disinfection with endorsed products to minimize risks and thus take care of the health of the people who will be on stage.

During the meeting, and permanently, Nacional has two people performing a constant disinfection of the spaces used by the teams and other personnel who will be in the designated areas. For the match, according to Resolution 1507 and the Dimayor Operations Manual, only 180 people will be able to enter, who will be in three different areas by some handles of different colors delivered by the entity. Seven hours before the start of the game, the club starts, together with Dimayor, the shielding of these three special areas.

The people who will be in zone 1 where the logistics, the players and the coaching staff, TV, delegates, advertising, stadium and cleaning staff are located, already have the negative PCR test, as a preventive and mandatory measure to guarantee the maximum the health of the athletes and the staff that will be there during the match.

Security measures

There is a security and isolation ring previously reviewed and endorsed by the Local Board of Security, Comfort and Coexistence in Soccer that closes at 8 in the morning, complying with the times established by the Resolution. In addition, it has organized in the surroundings of the ring, support of logistical personnel hired by the Club and additional personnel of the National Police.

The alternate player benches will be complemented with tents and chairs with their respective spacing. There will be a properly disinfected auditorium, with optimal air circulation for the referee group. By regulation, only three showers are enabled in each team dressing room.
