Man Utd received the message from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under the link Mauricio Pochettino

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the subject of a “witch hunt” and should not be fired by Manchester United.

So says former Red Devils defender Paul Parker, who doesn’t want Solsjkaer to be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino.

Former Spurs manager Pochettino has long been associated with the top job at Old Trafford and has already added his name to the mix this season.

Solskjaer’s Manchester United started the season badly and are currently in fifteenth place after four games.

But the Red Devils reacted last time in Europe and beat Paris Saint-Germain away in the Champions League.

“People look at a situation within the club and its hierarchy. There is a massive problem with Ole Gunnar managing Manchester United.

“There are a lot of people who can’t wait to throw knives every time United lose a game, who never pat them on the back for winning a football game, but they throw knives when he loses.

“He’s a good fit for Manchester United at the moment. He needed something like this after Jose Mourinho left.

“It took someone who wanted to put the club first and look at every area that needed a gentle touch or just a little cuddle, and he went and did that.”
