Golden State Warriors want a piece of the Los Angeles Lakers: they will offer a contract to Dwight Howard

The Los Angeles Lakers have been in charge of showing the entire NBA that many of the players who were already believed to be finished, they can still be useful in achieving a championship. Undoubtedly, one of them is Rajon Rondo, while another is Dwight Howard, who was believed to never be seen again at an acceptable level and without injury.

Both players became important to Frank Vogel in important moments of the NBA postseason and the intern had to deal with younger players and in their prime. Howard had to defend Nikola Jokic (also take him out of the game) and the same with Bam Adebayo when he was on the court. Dwight undoubtedly complied and also served as a break for Anthony Davis, who remains.

That’s why there are already several teams interested in the 34-year-old veteran, including the Golden State Warriors. The San Francisco franchise needs height, its main lack for all time, and evidently Bob Myers found the ideal in Howard, who could finally be NBA champion with the Lakers.

Dwight Howard’s contractual situation:

Howard just ended his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. That is, you are an unrestricted agent and you are free to sign an agreement with any team you want. With that base, The intern is expected to receive offers from various franchises, including Golden State Warriors, choosing the one that convinces him the most.

The good news for the Los Angeles Lakers:

Rob Pelinka, general manager of the Los Angeles franchise, was satisfied with the performance of one of his biggest bets in the offseason and wants to give Dwight Howard a new contract. Furthermore, as reported by Shams Charania, the player also has an interest in staying with the Lakers. Of course, the offer should be similar to that of the Golden State Warriors.
