Impervious to pressure, and no frills: Fiona Ferro and Clara Burel, new figures in French women’s tennis, dream of a first qualification for a second week of Grand Slam, Saturday at Roland Garros.
Ferro will start favorite against Patricia Maria Tig (59th world), another novice at this level in Paris. The youngest Frenchwoman to join the 3rd round since Alizé Cornet in 2008, Burel has already achieved her first Roland-Garros in the big leagues, but will have a lot to face Zhang Shuai (39th), if she wants to go further.
