Donald Trump cleared to build golf course in Scotland

LUS President Donald Trump has received authorization to build a new golf course in Scotland (United Kingdom), by virtue of a decision by local authorities, however against the local opposition.

This new golf course is to be named Mary Anne MacLeod, in honor of the grandmother of the President of the United States, whose roots were Scottish.

This land is expected to emerge on Donald Trump’s property in Balmedie near Aberdeen, which already has a golf course.

The green light for this golf course follows a long local battle over this resort on the North Sea. Opponents fear damage to the dunes and loss of public access to this area.

Donald Trump opposed the Scottish regional government to prevent the construction of wind turbines near the hotel complex, objecting that they would generate noise pollution and ruin the view from the golf resort. However, he lost the legal process in this regard.
