The alarm bells are ringing in German football: with the critics, with the holders of television rights and even with the national players. With regard to national coach Joachim Löw, a key question now arises.

IIn the great years of the Joachim Löw era, the undoubtedly existing skills in the organization and planning category at the German Football Association were superbly combined with the talents of this national coach. Regardless of his critics, Löw has always remained true to his line, and when it was important, he delivered: There were also weaker phases and defeats, but the tournament qualifications were never in danger and at the European Championships in 2008, 2012 and 2016, as well as at the 2010 and 2014 World Championships, he reached at least the semi-finals.

But football times have changed. On the one hand, the leap of faith in the work of the sporting management with the cruel World Cup 2018 and the unsuccessful Nations League event that followed has largely been used up. Above all, however, the priorities have shifted.
