Chacarera for my return | Champions League

START TO PURE TRIPLE

The game started evenly in the first moments. San Lorenzo imposed the rhythm at the beginning, had the triple as the initial weapon with Fjellerup (5) as the architect to start at the front. Neither Vildoza nor Copello managed to establish relations with the rest but Quimsa imposed the physical near the basket. Simpson (2-2t2) was active to tie at seven but still without the team appearing.

Santander planted a versatile and very running cast almost small-ball with Tucker for Montero in the lineup. Quimsa could not stop the Barça trinomial and Vildoza (2-3t3) added to Maldonado separated the team (15 – 7 and 18 – 11). In speed the team made a difference, stopped the first rival line to control the actions.

The santiagueo tried to impose himself physically, Cosolito without prominence but Ramirez Barrios (6) with Kent forming a duo. Both began to move their pieces, Quimsa looked for another rhythm with Baralle and Robinson before the siege of San Lorenzo. The Santander team strengthened in their basket with Satchell (4 reb), the extra forward pass boosted by the 6-9t3 and closing in front 26 – 18 with great strength.

CONTROL THE PACE OF THE MATCH

San Lorenzo maintained its control of the game. A wide open cast, Caffaro was encouraged with another triple and Santander moving the pieces at all times. Ferreyra gave Vildoza a break within a framework of smiles for the team (32 – 22). Maldonado with another bombshell and Quimsa losing in defensive transition and without reaching the adjustments. The uncomfortable from Santiago in the game, failed to fully put Robinson (0-3 from the field) and neither create effective play.

Cosolito with fault problems (3) and the variants that had no effect. Vildoza as designated driver, connected with Adrien and Fjellerup to award a clear +13 in speed and grace. Quimsa tried with Robinson and Gaskins together, both took the mufa from a distance, Baralle himself with a triple from his own dribbling and trying to twist the opponent’s arm.

San Lorenzo with a lapse of errors, Tucker without a goal and a technique, Montero (0-5) did not work either and the santiagueo came dangerously close. Baralle with another confidence (40 -35) to disturb the game. Maldonado and Fjellerup came out as firefighters, San Lorenzo again in tune and a close of 8-1 for the +12 end of the period.

ONE OPENED IT AND THE OTHER CLOSED IT

Little changed at times. San Lorenzo continued at a great pace of play, Vildoza and Fjellerup commanded in speed, deployment and closing of actions. Quimsa very stuck in offense, Robinson and Gaskins together but unable to unbalance an opponent well standing in his zone with catches. Kent and Simpson also did not calibrate and were in fact constant replacement parts.

San Lorenzo controlled his rival very well. Adrien gave a great hand rebounding and with a goal in his hands (55 – 41 and 58 – 44). Vildoza with another bombshell, Maldonado active when it was necessary to run and Quimsa upset and without ideas. In spite of that, the man from Santiago tried not to lose the line, Ramirez Barrios very useful in defense, winning near the rim and generating another attitude.

The cast of Santander lost some effectiveness, they needed to force their offensives which was beneficial for Quimsa. Cosolito returned improved from the bench (5) and joined with the revulsive Baralle to reduce the disadvantage. Neither Satchell nor Tucker showed off with the hoop and Quimsa had his moment in the game (66-61 with a 14-4 run). Montero and Satchell faced in the worst moment of San Lorenzo to just close 70 – 65.

THE RETURN OF QUIMSA

The party took another tension and parity. Quimsa defensively matched the game, did not let Vildoza run and San Lorenzo made bad decisions. His perimeter without too many spaces and the Santiago was placed only one possession in the first minutes. Again Baralle and Robinson wreaked havoc, Cosolito with a different determination and better defense.

The confidence of Gonzlez’s team rose, he knew how to better adjust back and Baralle with a bombshell tied the match at 75 with 3m30s played with the buzzer on top. Adrien and Tucker came to court, tried to win physically and dominate again. It was a battle at all times, Quimsa again with remote problems, Gaskins was no alternative although

Ramirez Barrios was the light of the santiagueo in different passages. First the same in 79 and when the team blocked from a distance, he applied a trippy to leave everything in 82. San Lorenzo looked for other alternatives, he did not look with the same freshness and at times he depended on the clarity of Vildoza to see himself in front. San Lorenzo’s problems increased when Ramirez Barrios recalibrated the sight (85 – 82 with 2m40s). Robinson and Cosolito to close the game and Simpson with another double winning near the rim.

END OF CRAZY AND BOMBING IN THE SUPPLEMENTARY

Santander looked again for a versatile cast and runner alone with Montero as a big man. Tucker missed the tie and Baralle extended the lead (1-2t1 and 88-84 with 55s). Ramirez Barrios did not calibrate and Tucker had his revenge (88-86 with 29s). After the minute, Baralle had more cold blood (2-2t1, 90-86). San Lorenzo found another discount with Montero and rewarded with 3-3t1 with 20s. San Lorenzo defended the last action and Robinson got the foul with 7s but only scored 1-2. The azulgrana found the miracle and Montero on a tray with a coast to coast sent the game to extra. Incredible.

Quimsa tried to change the chip quickly. Simpson made himself felt with his power to take free-kicks and quickly get on the line. San Lorenzo could not run in the same way, he was mostly tied up and Baralle nailed a bombshell on top (96 – 91 with 1m20s played). San Lorenzo tried to accelerate, again with his Argentine trident on the court but losing physically. Quimsa appealed to the clash of forces, Ramirez Barrios and Cosolito with their experience in tow.

Montero was better contained, San Lorenzo could not win near the rim and without the freshness of his speed and on top of it Baralle scored a monumental triple (104 – 95 with 1m34s). San Lorenzo was left without answers, he did not run anymore and suffered in his own flesh what he had fed him: triple. Qumsa with 3-3t3 in a row sentenced him in a movie ending.
