BV Varel is repositioning itself in promoting talent

Varel

Those responsible at the Varel badminton club used the summer break to reposition themselves in the children and youth training. Reason: After decades of commitment to the next generation, the trainer Bianca Pils would like to withdraw from active youth work.

“It is difficult to get someone new for such an outstanding trainer,” says Susanne Deckert, press attendant at BV Varel: “Bianca has always contributed all of her passion, free time and knowledge. But we are pleased that she will continue to be available to us in an advisory capacity and as a replacement. “

Thanks for great commitment

For professional and private reasons, Sascha Reimers and Lena Lindenblatt are also no longer available to the association for youth work for the time being. Deckert: “BV Varel would like to thank all of the trainers for their great commitment and commitment.”

In Dominik Helms, who has taken on the training together with Pils for many years and is also the youth manager, there is still a competent and committed trainer available. As supporters, three players from the BVV’s first team have now agreed to accompany the junior training. Fridolin Roberg, Matthias Leitz and Susanne Deckert want to pass on their many years of gaming experience and their joy in badminton to the children and young people.

Looking forward to a new task

“We are all looking forward to the task,” emphasizes Deckert with a view to the work with the youngsters at BV Varel that was resumed after the summer vacation. “This is of course all the more fun and enjoyable, the more children and young people are there,” says Deckert: “Therefore, all girls and boys aged six to 16 are cordially invited to Tuesday and / or Thursday from 6pm to 8pm to come to the BBS sports hall on Panzenberg. ”For more information, please contact Helms (dominik.helms@gmx) via email.

Meanwhile, adult training, which takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., started again on August 27th. “Here, too, interested parties – regardless of whether they are beginners or professionals – are cordially invited to come to the training”, explains Deckert and adds: “Of course, the training takes place under the general distance and hygiene measures.”
