Benoît Coric is anything but a bad player. Defeated in the final of the ATP 500 in Saint Petersburg for the second year in a row, the Croatian player preferred to pay tribute to his executioner of the day, the local Andrey Rublev, during the awards ceremony: “Honestly, I don’t like to lose but if that should happen to me, I would rather lose to you”, launched the very fair-play Borna Coric against a satisfied Andrey Rublev and almost a little embarrassed by such a declaration.
