An abysmal outbreak! Jaguars put 19 players on reserve / covid-19 list | THE IMPARTIAL

UNITED STATES – The Jacksonville Jaguars put 13 players, 12 of them from the practice squad, on the reserve / covid-19 list after one player tested positive on Friday.

Nathan Cottrell, Ben Ellefson, Nate Evans, Joe Giles-Harris, Terry Godwin, Josh Hammond, Jared Hilbers, K.C. McDermott, Doug Middleton, Josh Nurse, Austin Pleasants y Trey Quinn ingresaron en la lista de escuadrones de práctica/covid-19.

Josh Mauro, who just served a five-game suspension for performance-enhancing substances and was still on the exempt list, was put on the regular reserve / covid-19 list.

The Jaguars will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday, and the team said in a statement that they are still planning to play the game.

The Jaguars closed their facilities Saturday after the practice squad player tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.

The team said it consulted with the NFL and is following league protocols and conducting soccer activities remotely.

This is the first positive test for a Jaguars player since running back Ryquell Armstead was placed on the reserve / covid-19 list on September 5.
