AFL Grand Final 2020 start time, Richmond v Geelong, Australia, AEDT, running sheet, halftime entertainment, anthem, press conferences

This season was the most unique in pedestrian history and the trend will continue until the Grand Final.

Richmond will play Geelong in the playoff on Saturday October 24th in the first AFL Grand Final, which will take place at night.

It’s also the first time the final game of the season has been removed from Melbourne and instead played at the Gabba in Brisbane.

The opening jump is scheduled for 6.30 p.m. local time. The start time for everyone in Australia is as follows: WA (4:30 PM), NT (6:00 PM), QLD (6:30 PM), SA (7:00 PM), VIC, NSW, TAS, ACT (7:30 PM)

6.40 p.m. – Welcome to the country

6.42 p.m. – Electric Fields / Thelma Plum / Busby Marou / Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO)

6.47pm – Video tribute to former players with Mike Brady, QSO Orchestra & Choir

6:52 p.m. – Pre-Game Entertainment Performance including Cub Sport: These Days, DMA’S, Andrew Stockdale + Band & QSO Orchestras: Joker and The Thief

7:08 p.m. – Pre-game entertainment completed

7.11 p.m. – Referees enter the arena and deliver soccer balls to the referees

7.13 p.m. – Geelong enters the arena, team photo

7:15 p.m. – Richmond enters the arena, team photo

7:25 p.m. – Arrival at the Premiership Cup – Simon Black delivers the Premiership Cup to presenters Ash Barty (Richmond) and Ian Nankervis (Geelong)

7:26 p.m. – National Anthem, Tim McCallum + QSO

7:28 p.m. – Two sirens, coin toss

7.30 p.m. – 2020 AFL Grand Final begins

7:59 p.m. – Grand Final Sprint

8:03 p.m. – The second quarter begins

8:28 p.m. – halftime

8:33 p.m. – Halftime entertainment – Sheppard

8:55 p.m. – The third quarter begins

9.20 p.m. – three quarters time

9:28 p.m. – The fourth quarter begins

9:53 p.m. – Last siren

10:04 p.m. – Presentation after the game, team photo

Media Conference (Second) – This post-match media conference begins 15 minutes after the winning club leaves the field of play.

Media Conference (Premiers) – Will be held after the runner-up media conference.
