Geelong’s key striker Tom Hawkins skipped training Tuesday morning and left some intrigue less than a week before the 2020 AFL Grand Final.
Hawkins is being quarantined by his teammates after feeling sick. The cats take every precaution to ensure that nothing is passed on to the players.
It is believed that the Coleman medalist was due to hold a press conference on Monday before veteran Harry Taylor described the change to the cats as a result of a “family commitment.”

Hawkins has a sore throat and lives with his family at the Royal Pines Resort. He attended the Brownlow Medal on Sunday evening with partner Emma.
The club will have a main meeting on Wednesday with all eyes on Geelong to see if Hawkins will be available.
Tuesday’s hitout is an easy training session for the cats with Jack Steven doing laps.
