Adidas celebrates Day of the Dead with tennis collection

Adidas presents its collection “Day of the Dead”, designed to honor and celebrate one of the most important traditions of our country. The vibrant colors, symbols and joy of Mexicans to remember those who are no longer with us, are reflected in the four models that make up this collection: the DON ISSUE 2, DAME 7, D ROSE 11 and PRO BOOST LOW.

  • D.O.N. ISSUE 2: they are a celebration of the path in life after death. The upper part is an ultralight mesh completely in cream color that integrates skulls, flowers and cobwebs vivid colors that highlight these symbols that are part of this tradition. The BOUNCE midsole is covered with ice blue translucent rubber adorned with Dia de Muertos graphics.
  • DAME 7: in Mexico, the way in which loved ones who have died are celebrated is by remembering them. They are represented in this silo with blue and pink sugar skulls that are unmistakable icons of this celebration. DAME 7s are equipped with ultralight LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning technology. Inspired by the scenes, symbols and colors of this celebration, the upper part is completely black.
  • PRO BOOST LOW: The PRO BOOST LOW “Day of the Dead” explore the vibrant colors and tones associated with this holiday. The upper part of this model is covered in pink and incorporates several iconic symbols of the Day of the Dead in blue and gold. The rubber outsole features Herringbone & Blade traction for grip and control on the court.
  • D PINK 11: The D ROSE 11 have a light blue base with hints of orange and pink. Both the exterior and the sole have flowers and skulls like those used in the offerings with which we honor loved ones who are no longer with us. The rubber outsole is designed to provide better performance and durability.
