Twelve quarterbacks have a passer rating of 100 or higher (minimum 10 attempts) during the first week. This is the second highest in history after week one, according to the NFL.

Lamar Jackson of Baltimore leads the league with a near perfect 152.1. He is followed by Russell Wilson of Seattle (143.1), Gardner Minshew of Jacksonville (142.3), Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay (127.5), Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City (123.3), Kirk Cousins of Minnesota (118.6), Ben Roethlisberger of Pittsburgh (117.8), Las Vegas’ Derek Carr (107.5), Josh Allen of Buffalo (104.6), Mitchell Trubisky of Chicago (104.2), Jimmy Garoppolo of San Francisco (103.0) and Cam Newton of New England (100.7).

Of those 12 quarterbacks, Allen, Jackson, Mahomes and Minshew are 24 years old or younger. Carr, Garoppolo, and Trubisky are 30 or younger. Rodgers and Roethlisberger are 35 or older.

Thirteen games of the opening weekend were pitched by under-26 quarterbacks, the most in the first week since 1970.
