According to Daily Mirror, Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is expected to sign for AS Roma. Already on loan with the Roman club last season, the England international played 30 matches last season in Serie A and strongly contributed to the club’s 5th place. The Reds Devils are reportedly ready to accept Roma offer of £ 18million plus bonus. With the central defender not fitting in with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, he could be replaced by Frenchman Dayot Upamecano, provided that Leipzig agrees to sell him which is not won.
