Roland-Garros: Quentin Halys eliminated in five sets by the American Marcos Giron – Roland-Garros (H)

Holder of an invitation, Frenchman Quentin Halys failed to qualify for the second round of Roland Garros against Marcos Giron (7-5, 3-6, 6-7, 7-5, 8-6).

The current 202nd player in the world, however, led two sets to one and 2-0 in the fourth set. He even got a match point in the fifth set, 6-5 in his favor on the American’s serve, before losing in 4:22.
