Netherlands vs Italy Man of the Match: Ciro Immobile

Bola.net – Italy managed to reap its first victory on the UEFA Nations League stage on Tuesday (8/9/2020). Facing the Netherlands at the Johan Cruijff Arena, Gli Azzurri won by a narrow score of 1-0.

These results made Italy climb to first place in League A Group 1 with a collection of four points. Prior to this, Roberto Mancini’s team could only win a draw with a score of 1-1 against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Nicolo Barella determines Italy’s victory in this match. The Inter Milan midfielder managed to score Gli Azzurri’s only goal with a header by using a pass from Ciro Immobile.

The Dutch are of course trying to provide resistance. But until the referee blew the long whistle to signal the end of the game, Memphis Depay et al failed to break into the goal guarded by Gianluigi Donnarumma.
