Barcelona have agreed terms with Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum and are now negotiating a transfer fee with his club, Liverpool, according to tomorrow’s edition of SPORT Diary.
Negotiations between Catalans and scooters are “in advance” and the share is expected to be between 15 and 20 million euros.
Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman knows Wijnaldum from their time together on the Dutch national team. With Arthur and Ivan Rakitić’s confirmed departures and Arturo Vidal’s expected exit, Koeman seems eager to find a trusted name to bring to his midfield.
