The city of Adra hosts this Saturday, August 22, the badminton tournament ‘City of Adra 2020’ in which around 40 participants from the Alboran Badminton Club, organizer of the meeting, and other players from different teams from the province will compete from Granada. The competition will take place with all security measures and, as it is an individual modality, social distancing will be guaranteed.
In order for the celebration to take place with prevention measures, the cleaning and disinfection work that had been carried out in the sports hall, where the tournament will be held this weekend, has been intensified. In addition, taking advantage of the width of the court, a total of nine playing fields will be enabled, so that almost a dozen games can be held simultaneously and with the mandatory separation.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the fact that the competition is individual and the participants are located on both sides of the network, means that contact between the participants is practically non-existent and therefore the meeting can be held with all sanitary guarantees. However, there will be hydroalcoholic gels for hand disinfection at the entrance and exit of the enclosure and the use of a mask will be mandatory when traveling.
Precisely, the badminton school has been one of those that has been running during the months of July and August, which facilitates the organization of the tournament since the prevention protocols are already known.
