WR Cody Latimer, on Commissioner’s exemption list, cut by Washington football team

ASHBURN, Virginia – The Washington football team cut wide receiver Cody Latimer, who was facing multiple felony charges after being arrested in May.

Latimer was arrested on May 16 after gunfire was reported at an apartment complex in Englewood, Colo. Police allege Latimer threatened a friend with a gun and shot his gun during a game of poker. At a May 18 hearing, Latimer’s attorney Harvey Steinberg told court he had been contacted by law enforcement about a sexual assault investigation of Latimer’s son , aged 4, allegedly perpetrated by one of the poker players. Game.
