Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are in second place with 52,205 hashtags for the club shirt.
The Reds have a global audience and their popularity has certainly been boosted by their recent success in both the Champions League and Premier League.
Premier League mates Manchester United and Arsenal are in third and fourth place on the list with 49,091 and 44,934.
Real Madrid, thirteen-time European champions, are in fifth place ahead of their historical rivals Barcelona, who have dropped to seventh.
There are three other English teams on the top 15 list with Chelsea in sixth place (41,058), Man City in ninth (20,623) and Tottenham in 13th (10,621).
