It all depends. After months of planning and two weeks of seeding games in the Disney World bubble of the NBA, the Portland Trail Blazers will face the Brooklyn Nets in a matchup on Thursday evening to decide who will finish last in the Western Conference Play-In tournament this weekend gets.
The situation is pretty simple. If you win and Portland advances to play-in, you lose and the Suns are in, extending Phoenix’s miracle run. After the first quarter everything is aligned to 31-31. The nets wanted to make sure Damian Lillard didn’t repeat his 61-point performance, getting him out of the pick and roll and forcing other players to beat them. So far, CJ McCollum has topped all scorers with 12 points. On the offensive, the nets shot the ball well and Caris LeVert is 10 points ahead.
