Tottenham complete a deal for Ainsley Maiitland-Niles while Sessegnon is a reported goal for Newcastle.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be busy during the transfer window this summer, despite the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

It is unlikely that Spurs will be able to spend a lot of money on new players ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, but it is clear that the manager Jose Mourinho wants to improve his squad.

Tottenham Hotspur could try to sign Arsenal Ainsley Maitland-Niles during the relocation period this summer.

Spurs were first credited with interest in the 22-year-old earlier this week and now Sky Sports News say three clubs are considering summer moves.

The report does not mention Jose Mourinho’s squad, but says two Premier League teams are keeping an eye on developments surrounding the versatile operator.

Maitland-Niles has participated on 32 occasions for Mikel Artetaduring the 2019-20 season, but presumably not part of the club’s plans to move forward.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in getting a one-season loan deal for young Tottenham Hotspur Ryan Sessegnon.

The 20-year-old, who joined Spurs from Fulham last August, made just 12 appearances in all competitions during the 2019-20 season, including just six in the Premier League.

Second The sun, Newcastle are interested in a loan for the left player and could get closer in the coming weeks.

Sessegnon signed a six-year contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium upon his arrival last summer.

Tottenham has completed the signing of the midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton on a five year contract.

The 25-year-old was stripped of his captain at Southampton after making it clear he would not sign a new contract with the club, which would always lead to a summer outing.

Everton has been strongly linked to the former Bayern Munich youth, but Spurs have announced they have signed him for a five-year contract.

Jose Mourinho’s team is believed to have paid the first £ 20 million for the Danish international, although the final price could eventually increase with various additions.
