Today’s MotoGP standings: Top Quartararo, Valentino Rossi is far behind: Okezone Sports

MISANO – MotoGP riders are now resting for two weeks after undergoing a very busy race in August 2020 yesterday. They need to calm their minds as well as physically before fighting again in the remaining series of the 2020 season.

The Misano Circuit is also confirmed to be the next destination for MotoGP racers who are competing in this 2020 season. They will again compete in the 2020 San Marino MotoGP on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Of course the sixth series of MotoGP 2020 will run very interestingly. Because the riders are certain to be eyeing the first podium in order to bring home a lot of points to be added to the 2020 MotoGP racer standings.

For now, the race for first place in the 2020 MotoGP standings is very interesting. Because the first position occupied by the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team racer, Fabio Quartararo, is not safe.

That’s because Quartararo could have been evicted by other racers. Even sixth in the current standings, which is inhabited by Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda), has the opportunity to displace Quartararo if the Japanese rider wins the San Marino series and El Diablo – Quartararo’s nickname – does not win any points at all in the sixth MotoGP 2020 series. .

Knowing that the sixth place has a chance to be in first position after the San Marino GP takes place certainly proves how tight the world championship is this season. If you remember several seasons ago, a similar incident would be difficult to happen.

Apart from Nakagam, the other racers who are outside the top six actually still have a very good chance of being ranked first. Because the 70 points owned by Quartararo are still very likely to be pursued.

Moreover, the 2020 MotoGP race still leaves nine more (including the San Marino GP) series that still need to be played. With so many series, other racers have a very good chance to become champions.

Including Valentino Rossi. The Monster Energy Yamaha racer is now quite far behind Quartararo from the MotoGP 2020 standings.

There is at least a 25 point difference between Rossi and Quartararo. Because The Doctor – the nickname Rossi – is currently only able to collect 45 points from the five races he has run.

Then what about the top three positions in the standings today? Andrea Dovizioso occupied second place with 67 points. Then there is Jack Miller who managed to collect 56 points and is ready to compete with Dovizioso and Quartararo for the leadership of the standings.
