The second stage, high mountain

On the second day, serious things begin in the Tour de France, which faces the first high mountain stage, with two first-class passes and one second-class in the surroundings of Nice, which will again serve as the start and finish line.

Without time to adapt, the peloton will have to face 186 kilometers with a few flat kilometers, a wear that, in addition, can leave the first casualties among the candidates to fight for the general classification.

What is almost certain is that the yellow jersey will change its back after the first stage reserved for sprinters.

The day will begin at the edge of the sea, but it will not stop climbing until it ascends the Col de la Colmiane, a classic of Paris-Nice, considered first class, like Turini, which will arrive as soon as the first descent is finished.

Between both, almost 100 kilometers of mountains, of which 30 in port.

The top of Turini, 90 kilometers from the finish, gives way to rugged terrain that you will find on your way back to the coast. Before the end of the day, they must climb Col de Éze, second, 33 kilometers from the finish line, but before reaching it they will climb Col de Cuatro Caminos to 10 for the finish.
