The Javelin Museum remains one place behind the podium in Germany – Athletics – Apollo.lv – Sports

The muse achieved its best result – 59.52 meters – with the fifth attempt, however, it was only the fourth best result in the competition.

In the first attempt, the Muse threw a spear 56.15 meters away, in the second attempt it improved by 73 centimeters, in the third and sixth attempts it was unsuccessful, but in the fourth – 57.11 meters.

The victory in Germany on Saturday was celebrated by the 2016 Olympic Games champion Sarah Kolaka from Croatia, who in the fifth attempt broadcast the gear at a distance of 62.68 meters. The second place was won by Kristine Husonga, a former German champion, who threw a spear at a distance of 60.91 meters in the last, sixth attempt.

The bronze was won by the Czech Nikola Ogorodnikov, who in the first attempt managed to reach the mark of 60.84 meters.

Meanwhile, Gatiss Čakšs, Latvia’s leading javelin, had planned to start in the men’s competition this season, but the Latvian name cannot be found in the competition protocol.

On August 22, in the memorial competition of Jānis Lūša, Mūze won the third place, thus ending his series of seven victories, which started in Finland.

This season, on August 1, the Muse fired a spear at the Kuortane Games in Finland at a distance of 62.75 meters, which is currently the sixth best result in Europe. In turn, among all the athletes of the planet, it is the ninth best performance.
