What was the premiere in the Polish league?
I’m glad I looked at the field at least for a while. But the joy of the first start was ruined by a draw. We got two goals from the penalties and did not use our opportunities ourselves. But I believe that after the national team break we will continue victorious.
Can you play in more than one position, which Lech counts on you?
Primarily on the wings, one and the other. We’ll see. But wherever the coach wants to put me, he can. I don’t mind, I can play everything.

Is it important for you that you are nowhere to host after a long time?
It is, a lot. My priority was abroad, and in the spring I thought it might work out. However, the wind from the sails took the crown a little. In the end, however, it worked out. I’m glad Slavia let me go. I was already determined that if I didn’t get abroad, I would prepare with Slavia. It’s good to be in the cabin where you belong again. I didn’t want to be anywhere else every year.
Yes, you were a guest in Liberec last season, and last year in Jablonec. Don’t you regret that you didn’t make a name for yourself in Slavia?
I don’t think so. What happened happened. Roads are sometimes winding. Maybe thanks to the fact that I went to Jablonec, Lech still cared about me. I think it was clear in Jablonec that I played and had a lot of points. Better than sitting on a bench in Slavia, for example. Lech has been interested in me for three quarters of a year, maybe a year, and now it’s up to me to do well.
They will be expected from you when you are the greatest reinforcement in the history of the club. Doesn’t that bind you?
I don’t know if this is the biggest transfer ever, maybe yes. But it more or less doesn’t matter if I come for free or if it’s the biggest transfer. I’ve never dealt with such things. I want to make a name for myself here, to show performances that could get me to the national team and which will help the whole club. In that short time, I observe that it is an excellent club in which everything works absolutely fantastically. Robert Lewandowski, for example, is still given as an example.

Of course, why wouldn’t I dream about it? You have to dream about big things. At most, you just end up under them. But if you don’t even dream about them, you won’t go near them.

By the way, a year ago you founded your fashion brand BYSJ. Will you try to penetrate the Polish market now?
Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. (laughs) I have a friend Lukáš, with whom I started it, and he will make sure that I don’t have to worry about it and can only concentrate on football. But it is possible that we will expand here as well.
