Comment from the previous round

Even with the night rains, it wasn’t enough to greatly reduce the intensity of the golf course. While it allowed him to play easier than the first two days overall, the lead hasn’t increased and is still at -1. Two players shot 66 on the day, the best score of the tournament: Kevin Streelman, which was also devoid of bogey, and Jon Rahm who took one of the weirdest penalties I’ve ever seen called him. He picked up his ball on the green without scoring it. This could end up costing him the tournament.

Dustin Johnson he’s playing some of the most inspired golf I’ve seen from him over the years, and I hope he can continue like this and get his second tournament in a couple of weeks. When it’s up, it’s really fun to watch. He is Hideki Matsuyama they are the only two golfers with two rounds under par and are tied for Sunday’s lead. They played together today and it was a great game to watch. They’ll do it for another 18 tomorrow.

Previous Round Stat Review

Streelman was the only golfer to be free of the bogey during the day, although averaging the scores wasn’t much easier, sitting down at 72.39 for the day.

Hits Earned Hitting the ball against putting

Each of our top two golfers bounced back with good put rounds in the third round, with Corey Conners gaining about half a shot e Kevin Streelman earning 1.78. Also Bubba Watson earned 0.95 on the day. Rory McIlroy, Danny Lee is Scottie Scheffler they are going to the other side unfortunately, all losing badly throughout the day while maintaining their form from hitting the ball.

Earned hits ball hitting around the round differential

Only one player in the top 10 in this category earned consecutively in all three rounds and was better in each of them: Joaquin Niemann. In the day, Hi Hun An jumped to form, earning 3.35, 5.34 more than in round 2, with Adam Long, Collin Morikawa, Matthew Fitzpatrick is Brian Harman all not far behind.

General slate strategy

This will be one of the most exciting last rounds we have had in some time, with 26 of the 70 golfers within six of the lead. I’m mentioning you’re in the lead because I think the winning score will likely be even, and the course showed us 65 was possible today, except for a big brain fart from Rahm. So, I think I target a couple of those guys who are six years behind Richy Werenski, Correy Conners is Max Homa tomorrow it may provide some low ownership and high GPP games. This is also a good time to enter my weekly disclaimer:

* Final points are awarded to players for Final Round Showdown Races on DraftKings.

Top 10 analyzes and choices

There are five really solid names and a couple of other top names on the first page of the chart which opens on Sunday. Although, I’d say this is the first time we’ve got three of the top five guys on the pitch in the top six heading towards Sunday. This should lead to a compelling conclusion tomorrow. Watson and Kevin Kisner they both played well enough to stay in the top 10 but failed to catch up on the leaders and still sat three behind. Today they entered the top 10 Niemann e Sebastian Munoz, two winners of last year’s fall season.

Dustin Johnson ($ 10,800)

Rahm is still doing it everywhere, but with his irons, and McIlroy is approaching but he’s not quite there. Johnson, on the other hand, is getting stronger as this tournament progresses and he seems incredibly motivated with his round of golf right now. I know he’ll be the highest owned golfer tomorrow – no doubt – but I hope that with these next two picks and a couple of other fillings, I diversify enough to create variance in my lineup.

Stud or Value Pick outside the top 10

Russell Henley ($ 7,400)

Speaking of getting stronger as the tournament progresses, Henley has had a bad first round but has earned over 2.3 shots from tee to green in each of the last two rounds. It’s back to the shape we’ve seen in the last month or so. He has one day left in his season, unless he pulls out something miraculous, and being within four of the lead, it’s not out of the question for him to post a number and get at least in the top five.

Sneaky choice outside the Top 10

Cameron Smith ($ 6,300)

I guess I’m playing a theme here, but Smith has also progressively improved as this tournament progresses. He had a good week last week, but on Thursday he struggled to get out of the gates. He nearly missed a tee with the green, but has since had good consecutive days, earning 0.62 in round 2 and 2.36 in round 3. He’s also right on the bubble for making it to next week, something that is sure to keep him. more motivated as the round progresses.

Lineup Fill-in

Max Homa ($ 7,300)

Correy Conners ($ 6,500)

Richy Werenski ($ 6,400)

Collin Morikawa ($ 8,600)
