KOMPAS.com – Manchester United shifted their target to Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona) after failing to get Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
Man United failed to sign Sancho because they could not fulfill Dortmund’s request until the set deadline, August 10, 2020.
According to transfer experts Sky Sports, Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund until the very last moment deadline is still asking for 120 million euros or equivalent to Rp 2.058 trillion.
On the other hand, the maximum offer that Man United can give to Dortmund is reportedly only 90 million euros.
Dortmund’s Sports Director, Michael Zorc, on the last day deadline this implies closing negotiations with Man United.

Zorc firmly stated that Sancho will remain a Dortmund player next season.
“We already have plans with Jadon Sancho. He will be part of Dortmund next season,” Zorc was quoted as saying on the website. Sky Sports.
“I think that answers all of your questions (will Sancho move to Man United?) This decision is final,” said Zorc.
“We have also extended Sancho’s contract last year to June 2023,” added Zorc.
After failing to get Sancho, Man United reportedly made Ousmane Dembele the main game.
According to ESPN, Man United and Barcelona have now opened negotiations.
ESPN said Man United plans to borrow Dembele for one year with an option to buy the following season.
Man United’s chances of getting Dembele are quite large for two reasons.

First, Dembele since being brought in by Barcelona in the 2016-2017 season has failed to live up to expectations because he is injured more often than he plays.
This season, Dembele has only appeared nine times and had to go on the operating table in February 2020 due to injury hamstring.
The recurrence injury reportedly made Dembele no longer enter Barcelona’s plans for next season.
The second reason why Man United can get Dembele is that Barcelona is currently in need of fresh funds.
Barcelona is reportedly ready to release many star players at low prices in order to get Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
Apart from Dembele, Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann are also reportedly on Barcelona’s selling list.
Man United is very serious about chasing down players who are positioned on the right wing to complement the duo of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
Apart from Dembele, Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich) and Douglas Costa (Juventus) are also reportedly targeted by Man United.
