Philippe Coutinho named his dream club amid Arsenal transfer talk

Philippe Coutinho gave a clear indication of his future plans following his departure from Bayern Munich.

The striker leaves Bayern as European champion after helping him claim the Champions League earlier this month and is now returning to Barcelona.

His future at Barca is far from certain, though, with the decision to loan him 12 months ago seemingly a sign that his time at Camp Nou was coming to an end.

He has recently been heavily linked to Arsenal, with agent Kia Joorabchian confirming that the Brazilian wants a move to the Premier League.

The Gunners have a close relationship with Joorabchian and appear to be one of the few clubs interested in signing the former Liverpool star in a deal he would most likely be on loan.

Yet recent reports have said that Barca’s new boss Ronald Koeman is open to keeping Coutinho at Camp Nou, a position that could be strengthened by the news that Lionel Messi wants to leave the club.

Speaking after winning the Champions League, Coutinho revealed his delight at finishing his time at Bayern Munich with a flourish.

The 28-year-old has also hinted that his desire is to stay at Barcelona, claiming it was his dream to move to the club when he signed from Liverpool in 2018.
