The Premier League transfer window runs from 27 July to 5 October in the summer, as the shortened off-season means there is already a flurry of action and most clubs will want their teams sorted before the 2020 season -21 starts on 12 September.
Given that clubs have less than 40 days to go before the new season starts, you’d think the president, sporting directors and executives would all be pretty busy right now as they try to get their business done early. But we all know that when it comes to Premier League transfers, clubs can’t stay away from a deadline day.

Even during the coronavirus pandemic amid huge financial implications, there is still talk of huge sums of money when it comes to potential transfers.
